Break out the cigars and/or Serbian professional basketball players! Rockets star Yao Ming and his wife Ye Li are expecting their first child in July, a Chinese newspaper reported Tuesday.

The news was accidentally revealed by Ye's close friend Miao Lijie, who is her former teammate on China's women's basketball team, when attending a show at Shanghai World Expo on Monday. When asked why Ye did not come to the show with her, Miao said a "pregnant woman deserves less public activities."

Yao, 29, marked his marriage to longtime girlfriend Ye, 28, with a lavish August 2007 ceremony.

The couple hasn't decided yet where the baby will be born, but whether boy or girl, "lil' Yao" is sure to be one thing: creepy tall. Yao stands at 7-foot-6-inches, while Ye towers over most women at 6-foot-2.

I've just learned that Taylor Lautner is now being paid per ab. That's right, the 17-year-old co-star of the Twilight Saga franchise who's famous for his buff physique that is making girls scream when he takes off his shirt in New Moon, is getting $7.5 million for his next pic. The project is Paramount's Northern Lights, a Tom Cruise vehicle to be directed by John Moore (Max Payne) with a start date of April 1st. The logline says the pic is about "a gifted, young, aerobatics pilot who faces off with his controlling, billionaire father and falls in love with a gifted, female pilot). That shitload of money negotiated by WME now makes Taylor Lautner into the highest paid teenage actor around. (I'm told that neither Zac Efron nor Miley Cyrus have ever gotten a salary even close to that for their films. Amazing!)

Haven’t seen that one coming, really! But there she is, looking all airbrushed and very Miley… It was an interesting job for the Photo retouching dep – while everyone was photoshopped into a younger appearance. Miley’s airbrushing added years to her face. I know she’s relevant for the young population, but still, Miley Cyrus on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar?

At 19, Aaron is just seven years older than Sam and Jay's 12-year-old daughter Anjelica. Wood ex-husband with whom she also has a  a two-year-old daughter, Jessie, announced they were splitting last September after 11 years of marriage.

Production on 'Spiderman 4' delayed indefinitely

A holiday hiatus has turned into an indefinite vacation for "Spider-Man 4."

A Sony source confirmed that the studio is postponing production on the fourth installment of its superhero franchise, which was scheduled to begin lensing in February. Word began circulating among fanboys in mid-December that pre-production had ground to a halt on "Spidey 4" due to script problems with the Sam Raimi-helmed tentpole. At the time, the studio insisted that crew members were merely taking a two-week Christmas break.

Move echoes that of another Sony tentpole that was postponed due to script problems. In November 2007, Sony put "Angels & Demons" on ice until screenplay issues could be resolved. That film was originally slotted for a Christmas 2008 bow. Instead, it opened May 15, 2009.

In the case of "Angels & Demons," the script was rushed because of the looming WGA strike. With "Spider-Man 4," the studio has been fielding drafts of the script for years, with everyone from David Koepp to James Vanderbilt taking a crack at it. Alvin Sargent is currently retooling the story.

Sony still has "Spidey 4" skedded for May 6, 2011, though that date has become highly unlikely. The postponement would leave the first big weekend of next summer up for grabs by other studios.

"We'll try, but I think making May is a real question," the source said. "We will not start until we have it right. The feeling is we are not going to rush it to make the date."

British reality show model Jasmine Ferrard had no love lost for her former friend Casey Johnson when Johnson allegedly stole from her and used her vibrator in her bed a few weeks ago, but now that the heiress is dead Jasmine has only kind things to say--to an outlet that routinely pays its sources for stories.

"Casey was a fragile, beautiful, witty, wonderful girl who was desperately looking for love," Jasmine, 24, told RadarOnline.com. "Did I love her? Yes. I tried so hard to save her but I couldn't."

The same day she gave Radar an 'exclusive' interview Jasmine spoke to Life & Style about her devastation. Then she threw in a custody offer.

"Casey always made me promise if anything happened to her I would watch over her baby Ava, and with her family's blessing I will honor that promise," she told the magazine. Casey leaves behind a 3-year-old daughter whom she adopted from Kazakhstan in 2007.

Nine Inch Nails are heading back to the studio to record a new album, just months after sparking fears of a split by confirming their September show was its last.

The rockers announced they would be taking a break from live shows following their concert in Los Angeles, but they've now confirmed they will still be working hard in 2010 with plans for a new record.

Frontman Trent Reznor has also hinted fans will get an extra treat that "isn't Nine Inch Nails," but refused to elaborate on details of the side project.

In a post on the band's official website, the singer writes, "Happy holidays everyone and thank you for an exceptional year! Sorry I haven't been around much lately, I've been working on not working for a couple of months, which for me is hard work.

"2010 has a number of things planned including new material from Nine Inch Nails and something else that isn't Nine Inch Nails. I am in a state of rediscovery and reinvention that feels unfamiliar, unsure and exactly what I need."
